Internet Explorer 8 Notice

If you’ve upgraded to Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), you may have noticed that this newest release changes how you interact with MagnetMail.

For example, you may click on the Insert Hyperlink icon in the WYSIWYG editor and nothing will happen.

This quirky behavior is easy to fix.

For those using MagnetMail’s Version 1 Editor, you will likely receive a request to download Active X which will appear under the browser’s tool bar. Run this Active X application once by following the directions in the tool bar and you shouldn’t have any additional problems.

If you are using the Version 3 Editor, you’ll see a Compatibility View bubble appear when working in MagnetMail. Simply go to Tools>Compatibility View Settings. You will see three check boxes. Please select the last option, Display All Websites in Compatibility View, then click OK. This will add MagnetMail to a list of compatible web programs and you shouldn’t have any additional issues.
