The process of creating a new recipient in the Real Magnet data base continues to be a simple one. The only change is the introduction of a grid in place of pull-down menus on the Contacts Home page.
Start the process by clicking the Contacts tab, which will take you to the Contacts Home Page featuring Real Magnet’s new grid view format. These grids are found throughout the new interface, perhaps most notably on the home pages of each Real Magnet tab. The screen shots below compare the old and new Contacts Home Pages:

You’ll also note that the function buttons previously located at the top of the Contacts Home Page have been relocated to a left navigation pane creating a cleaner and more organized work space.
From the Contacts Home Page, click the Add Recipients link in the left hand side navigation and you’re taken to the Create a Recipient page.
To create a recipient, input values for the relevant standard and custom fields. Next, select the group or groups you want the recipient added to. This represents the biggest change to the process. In the old interface, groups were selected by adding a check to a check box that corresponded to the group. This could be confusing for customers with a large number of groups (see below). In the new interface, groups are selected using the paired grid system. Simply select the groups you want the recipient added to under the Available Groups section, and those groups are moved automatically to the Selected Groups section. Once the correct groups are selected, click Submit and the recipient is added to those groups.
